When adding a raised patio to his home, Butch Bickel requested that the retaining wall for the patio be constructed as an outdoor fireplace, which could also function as a grilling and entertaining area. The retaining wall was constructed with CMU, a cultured stone veneer, and a 4-foot-deep footer. Some of the features were light fixtures on both sides of fire box and two wooden storage boxes with counter space above the wooden boxes. On the pool side of the patio, a waterfall with LED lighting inside was installed.
