Barren River Lake Bank Stabilization

Cornerstone was awarded this contract in 2020. The work consisted of removing trees along the riverbank, re-grading the slope to the river, and installing articulated concrete vegetative matts (ACVM). These mats will eliminate the erosion of the riverbanks and allow campers and fisherman to access the riverbank. Cornerstone worked closely with the designers from the Corps and the ACVM supplier to make sure product was installed properly to meet the needs of the Corps.
